Resumen

Objetivo principal: Describir la implementación e impacto del proyecto Nursing Research Challenge a medio plazo en un hospital universitario de tercer nivel. Metodología: Estudio realizado entre 2023 (T0) y 2024 (T1). Utilizó el marco del Instituto Joanna Briggs para describir su implementación, el marco RE-AIM para evaluar su factibilidad y un cuestionario validado para medir el impacto en la capacidad investigadora de las enfermeras. Resultados principales: El 47% (400/850) de las enfermeras participaron en las actividades implementadas. Se registró un aumento significativo en dos de las dimensiones de la capacidad investigadora: el conocimiento aumentó en 0,20 y en 0,22 en el uso de los recursos. El nivel de satisfacción recibió una puntuación media de 4,6 sobre 5 puntos. Conclusión principal: Los resultados del estudio confirman que el proyecto NRC ha logrado con éxito el objetivo de promover la investigación enfermera en el hospital universitario.

Resumo

Objective: To describe the mid-term implementation and impact of the NRC project in a tertiary university hospital. Methods: The study was conducted between 2023 (T0) and 2024 (T1). The Joanna Briggs Institute framework was used to describe its implementation, the RE-AIM framework assessed its feasibility, and a validated questionnaire measured the impact of selected activities on nurses' research capacity. Results: 47% of the nurses (400/850) participated in the implemented activities. There was a significant increase in two of the dimensions of research capacity: knowledge improved by 0.20 and resource utilization increased by 0.22. Satisfaction levels were high, with an average score of 4.6 out of 5 points. Conclusions: The study results confirm that the NRC project successfully achieved its goal of promoting nursing research within the university hospital.
