Biografía del autor/a

Cristina Heierle, Escuela Universitaria Virgen de las Nieves, SAS, Granada

Cristina Heierle es Diplomada en Enfermería, especialista en Psiquiatría, master en Salud Pública y Administración Sanitaria, obtiene la licenciatura en enfermería en el año 2003 en la Facultad de Ciencias enfermeras de la Universidad de Montreal (Canadá) gracias a una beca del Instituto de Salud Carlos III y de la Universidad de Montreal. Es profesora de Enfermería Comunitaria, Promoción de Salud y Técnicas de Evaluación en Enfermería  (Investigación) en la Escuela Universitaria Virgen de las Nieves (Granada). Su actividad investigadora, la desarrolla en las líneas de documentación en enfermería, atención domiciliaria, calidad de vida y cuidadoras familiares de pacientes con alteraciones cognitivas. Es coautora de diversos libros científicos de Enfermería Comunitaria,  autora de múltiples artículos científicos, conferenciante y organizadora de diversas actividades científicas, todas ellas relacionadas con  las ciencias enfermeras. Participó en la constitución de la Asociación Andaluza de Enfermería Comunitaria, siendo su presidenta desde 1997 a 1999. Actualmente es Vicepresidenta  de la Fundación Index y Redactora Jefe de la revista Index de Enfermería. La investigación que recoge esta monografía fue premiada en su fase de proyecto en el certamen Nacional San Juan de Dios, de la Universidad de Comillas, en enero de 2001.
