Resumen

Objetivo principal: Identificar el vínculo existente entre salud mental y duelo perinatal. Metodología: Se realiza una revisión bibliográfica focalizada en el duelo materno por muerte perinatal. Las variables analizadas son los sentimientos encontrados, los factores de riesgo y protección, y terapias complementarias. Desarrollo: Se evidencia que los padres tienen dificultad para funcionar con normalidad y que el riesgo de desarrollar ciertas patologías psiquiátricas se incrementa considerablemente. Se ha identificado que existen factores personales que actúan como protectores. Para aliviar este padecimiento se deberían llevar a cabo visitas de seguimiento, junto con otras terapias alternativas que han demostrado efectividad en estos casos como el Mindfulness. Conclusión: Las mujeres experimentan un elevado estrés emocional como consecuencia de este fenómeno de-vastador. En estos casos, es esencial el acompañamiento terapéutico de estas pacientes.

Abstract

Objective: Identify the link between mental health and perinatal grief. Methods: A bibliographic review focused on maternal grief due to perinatal death was proposed. The variables analyzed are mixed feelings, risk and protective factors and complementary therapies. Developing: It is eviden-ced that parents have difficulty functioning normally and the risk of developing certain psychiatric pathologies increases considerably. It has been identified that there are personal factors that act as protectors. To alleviate this condition, follow-up visits should be carried out, along with other alternative therapies that have shown effectiveness in these cases, such as Mindfulness. Conclusions: Women experience high emotional stress as a consequence of this devastating phenomenon. In these cases, therapeutic monitoring of these patients is essential.
