Resumen

El Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH) afecta a entre el 5% y el 10% de los niños en edad escolar, repercutiendo en su desarrollo académico, social y emocional. Este estudio evalúa el papel de las enfermeras en la detección temprana del TDAH y el apoyo a las familias. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica en Medline Web of Science, y Google Académico. Los resultados subrayan que la intervención enfermera, mediante herramientas de cribado y educación a las familias, reduce significativamente el estrés parental y mejora el rendimiento escolar. Se concluye que una intervención multidisciplinar, liderada por las enfermeras es clave para garantizar un manejo eficaz del TDAH, impactando positivamente en la calidad de vida de los niños y sus familias

Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) affects between 5% and 10% of school-age children, impacting their academic, social and emotional development. This study evaluates the role of nurses in the early detection of ADHD and support for families. A literature review was conducted using Medline and Google Scholar. The results highlight that nursing intervention, through screening tools and family education, significantly reduces parental stress and improves school performance. It is concluded that a multidisciplinary intervention, led by nurses, is key to ensuring effective ADHD management, positively impacting the quality of life of children and their families
