Resumen

Objetivo: Explorar intervenciones terapéuticas para reducir estrés y mejorar calidad de vida en mujeres con infertilidad, evaluando diferencias en resultados. Metodología: Revisión sistemática de artículos cuantitativos según directrices de la declaración PRISMA. Resultados: 7 estudios cumplían los criterios de inclusión, con un total de 444 mujeres participantes. Las intervenciones terapéuticas utilizadas incluyeron terapia de grupos, terapia individual y terapia de imágenes guiadas. Se observó una mejora significativa en la calidad de vida y una reducción del estrés en las mujeres participantes después de la intervención, con resultados heterogéneos entre los estudios. Conclusión: Intervenciones de gestión de estrés, ya sean grupales o individuales, pueden aliviar los síntomas del estrés generado por la infertilidad y mejorar la calidad de vida de las mujeres. Se recomienda investigar sostenibilidad y efectos a largo plazo, así como considerar influencia de factores culturales en futuros estudios.

Abstract

Objective: To explore therapeutic interventions for reducing stress and improving quality of life in women with infertility, assessing differences in outcomes. Methods: Systematic review of quantitative articles following PRISMA guidelines. Results: 7 studies meeting inclusion criteria, with a total of 444 female participants. Therapeutic interventions included group therapy, individual therapy, and guided imagery therapy. A significant improvement in quality of life and reduction in stress was observed in participants after intervention, with heterogeneous results among studies. Conclusions: Stress management interventions, whether group or individual, can alleviate the symptoms of stress generated by infertility and improve women's quality of life. It is recommended to investigate sustainability and long-term effects, as well as consider the influence of cultural factors in future studies.
