Resumen

Objetivo: Interpretar los atributos espirituales en el proceso de convertirse en madre por primera vez a los cuatro meses postparto. Método: Estudio cualitativo, con análisis de contenido que se llevó a cabo con 64 madres primerizas, a los 4 meses postparto. Se analizaron 128 escritos siguiendo las fases descritas por Bardin: preanálisis, aprovechamiento del material y tratamiento de resultados, inferencia e interpretación. Resultados: En este estudio emergieron dos grandes categorías temáticas, la primera: esperanza transformadora y la segunda esperanza trascendental. Conclusión: Las madres primerizas mostraron que el significado que el bebé otorga a sus vidas les permite ir más allá de sí mismas, realizarse como madres, mujeres y mejores seres humanos para proyectar un futuro, proveyendo todo lo que el bebé necesita; por lo tanto, es la esperanza transformadora y trascendental, el atributo espiritual que experimenta la mujer al convertirse en madre

Abstract

Objective: Interpret the spiritual attributes that firsttime mothers show when becoming mothers at 4‐month postpartum. Method: A qualitative study with content analysis was conducted in 64 first-time mothers at 4‐month postpartum. A hundred twenty-eight writings were analyzed following the phases described by Bardin: pre-analysis, use of the material and treatment of results, inference and interpretation. Results: In this study emerged two main categories: transformative hope and transcendent hope. Conclusion: First-time mothers showed that the meaning their babies give to their lives allows them to go beyond themselves, fulfill themselves as mothers and women, and become better human beings to project a future, providing everything their babies need. Therefore, this transformative and transcendental hope is the spiritual attribute women manifest when they become mothers

Resumo

Objetivo: Interpretar os atributos espirituais no processo de se tornar mãe pela primeira vez, aos quatro meses pós-parto. Método: estudo qualitativo, com análise de conteúdo que foi realizado com 64 mães de primera viagem, aos 4 meses pós-parto. Foram analizados 128 textos seguindo as fases descritas por Bardin: preanálise, aproveitamento do material y tratamento dos resultados, inferência e interpretação. Resultados: Neste estudo surgiram duas grandes categorias temáticas, sendo a primeira: a esperança transformadora e a segunda, esperança transcendental. Conclusão: As mães de primeira viagem mostraram que o significado que o bebê traz nas suas vidas, permite que possam ir além delas mesmas, de se sentirem realizadas como mães, mulheres e também como melhores seres humanos para projetar o futuro, provendo tudo que o bebê necessita, portanto, é a esperança transformadora e transcendental, o atributo espiritual que experimenta a mulher ao se converter em mãe
